WhatsApp Web Integration for Odoo allows teams to connect a personal WhatsApp number by scanning a QR code, just like using WhatsApp Web on a computer. There is no need to set up the Meta Cloud API, create a business account, approve message templates, or pay per message.
Incoming messages appear in Odoo Discuss, where users can reply with text, images, videos, audio files, and documents. Message delivery and read status can also be tracked. New WhatsApp users are automatically added as contacts, and their chats can be opened directly from the contact page. The app keeps the WhatsApp session connected and automatically reconnects after a restart.
