The Prefetch Patterns in Odoo() method provides a powerful way to optimize database queries and improve the performance of your ORM operations. It allows you to pre-fetch related fields for the retrieved records in a single query, reducing the need for subsequent database calls.

Use of prefetch() Method: -

It leverages optimized database queries to retrieve related field data alongside the initial recordset fetch.

This reduces the need for separate queries to access related field data, avoiding unnecessary database roundtrips.

Prefetch() Method usage and Syntax:-

# Now, you can access order_line data efficiently:

for order in sale_orders:

    print(order.name)  # Access SaleOrder fields

    for line in order.order_line:

        print(line.product_id.name)  # Access product name from prefetched data
